I really don't have anything to add to this post...
Well, at least, she doesn't eat meat or smoke! I wonder what the "average" devotee is like compared to the population at large? What kind of person is drawn to these kinds of teachings and why? I like the way Van Houten says she became a "complete machine". Heck, that sounds like the ideal devotee.
I only knew about George Harrison and Elvis.
